CMC Recently received 9 awards from the SKOCH Foundation. Dr. Sunil Chandy, the Director of CMC writes:

In keeping with the Honourable Prime Minister?s ?Minimum Government Maximum Governance? strategies, the SKOCH Foundation, New Delhi has announced a nationwide nomination for the best health practices in the country as a preamble to the formulation of the new health care Policy. Nearly 10,000 nominations were short listed to 50 awardees. All nine nominations from CMC were placed in the top Platinum category among the best twenty in India.
The tribal Health Initiative in Jawadhi Hills was, in addition, has been awarded by British medical Journal for its excellence in Primary Health Care in Challenging Circumstances.
I thank God for this honour on CMC and acknowledge the huge role that our staff and faculty have played in pushing the frontiers of excellence. A special word of appreciation to grass root level workers in the field who are the front face of any successful programme.
