Dr. Sunil Chandy was commissioned as the new Director on September 21, 2012 at a function where the institution and CMC community came together for the service. Also commissioned on the occasion were the Principal, Dr. Alfred Job Daniel, the Medical Superintendent, Dr. C.E. Eapen, the Associate Director (Finance), Dr. Thomas Kuriakose, the Associate Director (HR), Dr. D.J. Christopher and the Associate Director (Missions), Dr. Kenny S. David.

The solemn service was lead by the Chaplaincy Department as well as the Rt. Rev. Dr. George Isaac, former Chaplain of CMC and Bishop Emeritus and Rt. Rev. A.I. Alexander of the St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India, Tiruvalla. The service was an opportunity to give thanks to God for the dedicated leadership of Dr. Suranjan Bhattacharji and commit the new leadership of the institution into God’s mighty hands. The new administrators were charged with the task of leading the institution in the spirit of Christ, with love, justice and compassion, while promoting peace, reconciliation and healing.
